Flash Mob Frenzy

I will have to admit that I am not much of a dancer. However, watching others dance brings me joy.

If you have not heard of a flash mob yet. My suggestion is to watch and see below.

Have fun and Enjoy!!

Here is one for all you Glee fans!!

Last but not least, it's the one flash mob that sparked my interest. Plus, I am a fan of the Black Eyed Peas!!!

Everflowing Light

The light is upon us.

It swirls around us...in streams of different colors.

It feels like a light breeze, whisping through your hair.

The faster it goes, the more overwhelming.

It becomes tighter...squeezing the body together.

In one snap, it vanishes!!!

The after glow is so euphoric.

Let's do it again.

More light, More colors, More glow.

Struggle Produces Beauty

Struggle Produces Beauty

The struggle, the pain....

It only takes one single moment

The eye lids open, the shock begins....

It's too unbearable

please......

Make it stop.

The eye lids close, the pain remains....

Close them longer..tighter
it's still there.

The eye lids open, everything remains...

It's all the same, nothing changes....

The colors beyond the blinds begin to change
The dark blue is chased away by the bright light

The eye lids close to shield the light...
(As if the pain wasnt enough)

The body moves to reconvine it's routine....

Behind the lids...Sight takes over

The corners see glimpses
Violets...Pinks...Yellows

The Sight begins to focus
It's a battle over the blurry

The colors become clearer, the outlines begin to produce form.

Sight feels the victory
It's so beautiful....

The colors take over
the lids close without pain

Engulfed by the bright light.....

Transformed

Renewed

Joy

Destruction in the Name of Love

Its pure bliss.
The excitement is in the air.
The door opens as the new smell hits my face.
The first step into a magnificent life.
The cat sleeps at the corner of the couch, unamused by any presence.
Interesting.The first sign.

From a far the lady figure appears to be cleaning the kitchen.
The closer I approach, the clearer the figure.
What eyes have deceived me?
It’s no lady, it’s a man in a pink flower nightgown.
Freak. The second sign.

The walk to my room.
Anticipation, Wonder fill the hallway.
The brown door creaks open, my eyes begin to water.
I look inside, my foot takes a first step.
I proclaim its beauty with eyes watering.
The longer I stand, the more my nose detects an odor.
Rotten eggs...backed up sewer…fried livers.
Odor causes watering eyes. The third sign.

Bang, Bang, Bang
It’s 3 a.m., no movement.
Disgruntled, Angry, Careless
“Are you there?”
No response.
“I need toilet paper.”
My head ponders the need versus the time.
“Get it your damn self”. Lazy.
Bang, Bang
It’s 5 a.m.
Pissed Off. The third sign.

I look in the bathroom mirror , the sticky note reads,
“I will NOT clean, but Jesus loves you.”

Silence

The sun shines through the branches
The light bounces off the leaves

The lids close to feel the warmth
The cool water refreshes the soul

The quiet fills the air
The heart settles in the stillness

Each breathe is lasting
Each breathe is relaxing

Voice

You call in the nights
You whisper my name

Your angels rejoice before me
They clap and giggle with praise

You draw me into your presence
Your heart thumps in my ear

I lose myself to you
Encaptured by you

My heart begins to beat
My eyes are ready to see

Its Sweeping Beauty
Gorgeous……

HEART

It swirls around me
I can feel its presence

My eyes shut
Absorbing the glow

The sound begins to rumble beneath my feet
Erupting, Moving

It shakes, shifts
The pulsating heart is uncontained

The Pressing

The Heart

The Illuminated Glow

Amazing Teen

I love hearing stories that have such a positive influence in the community.

Especially, if these stories come right out of your own city.

This story has the ability to speak on several different levels.

The first is the gift of giving. This 13 year old felt the calling to help others during the greatest need this winter.

The second is the homeless in Fresno. I really think that this story will open the eyes of those in this teens generation. Actually, that is my hope and prayer that this generation will see the homeless and feel the call to respond.

I love the teens response to helping the homeless, "God is watching out for them"

Here is the link for the video: http://abclocal.go.com/kfsn/video?id=7158187

The last 10 to 15 seconds are by far the most prophetic.

The reporter interviews a homeless woman......

Reporter: "He wanted you to know theres hope"

Homeless Woman: "...and he said a little child should lead them"

This Woman is exactly right. A little child will lead them into a vision of service and compassion. It is the heart of this 13 year old that is truly amazing...life changing.

Take a minute and watch the clip.

It may just change your life!!!

Four Storey Tsunami

1) Wake Up!
2) Shower!
3) Pick out clothes for the day!
4) Off to work!
5) 5 p.m. back home!

Ok, so what's next on your list of things to do for the day.

I know that most of you watch, hear, or read the news. At this point, this event has already happened so I am not informing you of Breaking News. I wanted to repost this story for a couple of reasons....

**The first being that I have family members from the South Pacific and in some way my heart is connected.

**The second is that Natural Disasters can destroy so much and take so many lives!!!

The link to this article is more current so check it out:

I believe awareness is so important!

I just want people to be aware of what is going on in the world so that we can pray and contend for other countries and nations. I know that we are all going through something in our lives and we sometimes can only see what is right in front of us. However, if the newspaper, tv or computer is right in front of you, then you have seen this story. I know that this is not the only natural disaster that has affected a country or nation. I realize that there are many more stories of disasters, destruction and lives lost.

My attempt is to get you so look at number 6 in your list of things to do in your day. So, here it is......

6) Pray for Countries that have dealt with natural disasters!
